Control Instruments Automotive is a subsidiary company of Control Instruments Group Limited.
CI Automotive manufacture and distribute top quality automotive components to OEMs and the automotive aftermarket in southern Africa. Our locally manufactured brands: Gabriel, Echlin, AutoExel, MAG-Brakes, Autosave and Autocom are well known, established brands which have become synonymous with quality and reliability in the automotive aftermarket in South Africa.
Based in City Deep in Johannesburg, CI Automotive employs some 200 people dedicated to our marketing, warehousing and distribution operations, serving a network of wholesale distributors, to South Africa and into the rest of Africa. We are also the direct suppliers to the South African OEMs (in various fields including BAE, Bell, DTV) and supply their P&A operations.
Our manufacturing facilities in Johannesburg and Cape Town employ a further 400 people dedicated to efficient production, according to the highest standards of our ISO, TS and SABS certification.
In addition, leading international brands have been selected carefully and procured from accredited sources, subjected to our quality and supplier development initiatives.
